I live next to a magical forest, that lends me its moods and views, and through which I walk daily to let my creativity take flight among the tall trees, for each step brings a new angle, word, colour or nuance. For me these walks are part of the writing process.
Each walk is a bit different, and every time I need more inspiration I walk to a certain trail, with one of my favourite sayings in mind: ”the obstacle is the path” and I cross over the tree, sit on it, balance myself on it, or just glance at it a bit, from different sides..and my inspiration does come back..

Gorgeous!
SA good tree-.
I live next to a magical forest, too. I know exactly what you mean!
Yes – do you use it for inspiration?
Absolutely! Most of my nature shots are from the 300 acres that surround me.
Great shot!

Beautiful… You’re not in it though…
Yep, as you said – beautiful – without me there! Well…next time I’ll be there, swinging a woodcutter’s axe!
What a truly spectacular place to live. I envy you.
Yes, the grass is greener here! Every where is potentially nice I think – I miss mountains here – its a bit flat, but nice, yes.
definitely a place to be inspired … or just to chill.. relax and centre … and to be … totally envious
The grass is greener here…!
Am I allowed to be a little envious? Yes, there’s woodland at the top of my road, but I can still hear the cars and smell the town nearby. That forest of yours looks so tranquil and unpolluted. It really is exeptionally beautiful. I wonder what species of animals and birds live there, and how many hours of daylight you have at this time of year?
It looks lovely and you are very lucky
Green is nice, true.
